Watch as LaughingMan and Nat take artwork from The Fuboo and turn it into an animated 2D rig in the Unity game engine. The concept we are building is a horror exploration game that we have codenamed: “Harrow House”. We are debating about the art style, whether to use 2D pixelated graphics to enhance the horror via obscurity, or keep the artwork clean looking. Our major inspiration is the original ClockTower game for the SNES/Super Famicom.

LaughingMan and Fuboo update you on the goings ons at Black Shepherd Games and Inverted Mind Inc. The first part of Fuboo’s “YourBoyfriend” erotic horror visual novel is now on Patreon for the low, low entry price of a single dollar, so be sure to pick it up. The new “Day 1” game consists of new artwork and music by Fuboo, as well as new backgrounds by the artist, Blasticheart. The script from the YourBoyfriend Demo has been completely rewritten, expanded upon, and given more options during your initial encounter with the mysterious stranger who considers himself to be your boyfriend.

Meanwhile, LaughingMan’s 2TB hard drive died, wiping out a lot of his projects and games. However, the game streams with the Patreon and SubscribeStar supporters are still backed up and we’ll be rolling them out. Additionally, LaughingMan is working on a video that teases the horror game project that he and Nat have been working on.

But to be fair, Nat is playing the Resident Evil 2 REmake with a completely broken PS2 USB MadCatz controller that is literally being held together by wads of paper and tape.

LaughingMan and The Fuboo spectate (read: heckle) as Nat navigates the labyrinthine headquarters of the Raccoon City Police Department (RCPD). The game begins with the young rookie, Leon Kennedy, crosses paths with Claire Redfield outside of the Midwestern town of Raccoon City, right as the T-Virus turns its residents into hordes of zombies and mutants… Without the rest of the country seemingly caring about the hordes of disease-riddled undead in the streets like it’s down town San Francisco.

One of Nat’s earliest gaming experiences was her dad leaving Resident Evil 2 on when she was only about 5 years old. Now, she’s a veteran of the entire Resident Evil gaming series. How does the Resident Evil 2 remake hold up? The short answer is: Very well, indeed! However, after spending all of her ammo on the walls, playing the over-the-shoulder survival horror game without a mouse and keyboard soon proves to be more trouble than it’s worth.

In the meantime, can we all agree that there’s something ridiculously wrong with Claire’s swollen face? She looks like she has a peanut allergy.

But LaughingMan and LlamaPockets are just as clueless as to what she is supposed to be doing. Every turn reveals a nasty creature and a far more horrific fate for our pixelated protagonist.

Unqualified Mars colonist, LlamaPockets, dooms future space exploration by falling from Martian cliff to test gravity, and forgets his helmet before leaving an airlock.

LlamaPockets plays “Moons of Madness” for some Mars colony science fiction horror. But if DOOM has taught us anything, what we get is pandemonium on the red planet.

After an eerie intro, LlamaPockets (aka “Sport”) finds himself alone on a derelict Mars colony, complete with demon-possessed Russian dolls, suspicious bacon-and-egg breakfast bars that make airline food look like Gordon Ramsay’s cooking, and a green screen for hosting Meme Review on YouTube. However, something creepy is happening in the station. You can tell because of the bloody tentacles that are hanging from the ceilings.

Not wanting to re-create the iconic Total Recall asphyxiation scene, we explore the Martian surface and its floaty jump mechanics, only for LlamaPockets to discover that, yes, Mars does have fall damage.

LlamaPockets tells the story of when he saw a job offering to be a fire alarm maintenance man for a base in Antarctica, and LaughingMan and Fuboo speculate how long it would be before the icecap would burn. But at least LlamaPockets would save the penguins as they belly-slide to safety.

We finally find the Mars rover, the Meerkat. After spending far too long trying to find a way in, we discover the tiny button to open the hatch. The fun ends as the game doesn’t let us pilot the Mars rover by skipping to a cut scene. It’s probably for the best, because LlamaPockets was hoping to do a sweet jump with Mars’ lower gravity.

And, in an act of forgetfulness, LlamaPockets takes off his helmet before cycling the atmosphere in the airlock, pulling a Schwarzenegger. If this game were an application for being the first on a one-way ticket to die alone on Mars, LlamaPockets fails miserably.

People are trapped in a dark forest as a plague kills survivors and transforming them into monsters. Nat has to craft weapons, interact with survivors, and survive beasts and abominations alike. One of her first acts in the game is to craft a weapon and, reluctantly, put down a suffering dog. Wade, however, cheers her on.

LaughingMan asks, “When will Pornhub create a SFW rival site to YouTube to counteract the rampant censorship and demonetization of YouTube Creators?” Wade and LaughingMan break down the stats of how long it took various industries to reach 50 million users. The results are shocking.

Meanwhile, Wade and LaughingMan still have the Harvest game and Wiki on their minds. One of considerations in hind-sight was to perhaps revisit Darkwood in a dark, more intimate surrounding. The game is very atmospheric and eerie, which likely isn’t best appreciated on a live stream, in a lit room, with wisecracking friends.

LaughingMan disturbs Wade, Nat, and The Fuboo with a quick overview of the live-action FMV cult classic, Harvester. During the game stream, the protagonist witnesses his younger brother watch horrific violence in a cowboy television series, and watches a baby eat a spider. They recoil when LaughingMan tells them you can proposition your own mother, visit a firehouse where the firemen are gay, meet one of the creepiest neighbors on earth, watch a teacher bludgeon a child for questioning authority, and visit your incestuous soon-to-be father-in-law. Finally, as the insanity is reaching its boiling point, LaughingMan convinces an officer at a nuclear missile base to start a nuclear holocaust.

Out of morbid curiosity, Wade visits the Harvester Wiki. They discover that the only thing more horrifying than Harvester, are some of the insane happenings to the cast and developers behind the game. Several developers of the game went on to help create some of the most iconic games, like Half-life. However, we soon learn that the lead actor of Harvester, Kurt Kistler, was arrested for “CP”.

A strange and twisted world… Harvester! The most violent adventure game of all time. Harvester is a 1996 point-and-click psychological horror game. The protagonist, Steve, wakes up in the surreal town of Harvest with a case of amnesia. But even if he can’t remember his past, he knows something is horribly, horribly wrong in this dark, and ultra-violent parody of suburban America.

Harvester borders on a Lynchian, Twin Peaks-like take on the 1950s and 60s, with a poignantly violent twist. Additionally, there’s loads of branching story lines, moral choices, and disturbing secrets. The result is a dark satire of violence in the media that has found a cult following.

Nat, LaughingMan, Wade and The Fuboo are streaming horror games for Halloween as they wait for their Chinese food. Although we speculate it’s late because of Wade’s costume as Chairman Pooh. Wade is the first to stream his games, and chooses two horror-themed mods. The first is the first game Wade said ever scared him: Call of Duty Zombies. The second is a Half-Life 2 mod that he thought looked really cheesy: Nightmare House.

It’s going to be a zombie-blasting, baby-throwing, Epstein-didn’t-kill-himself-and-we-aren’t-suicidal, trash-talking, Chinese-food-eating, spooky good time.
